Jonny trained as a professional actor at Drama Studio London. Since then he has had the pleasure of performing all over the country, playing a wide range of bumbling sidekicks, dastardly villains and unlikely heroes. Jonny works for Comedy Dining where he plays wonderful characters in tribute shows of iconic and beloved British Sitcoms including Fawlty Towers, Allo, Allo and Only Fools and Horses. Jonny is also a professionally trained singer and works as a Broadcasting Assistant for BBC Essex. When not treading the boards Jonny is a practitioner of performing arts working with children and young people.
Jonny is represented by Sandra Singer Associates. He thoroughly enjoys entertaining children and is delighted to join the team at Jollypop.
Jessica has worked as a Children's Entertainer for 5 years, working closely with Jollypop directors, Grace and Kate. She absolutely loves working with children and creating magical unforgettable moments with them. As well as entertaining, Jessica works full-time as an Animator in the industry; creating animated films/shorts for kids. Jessica loves to sing and read stories with her princess friends! She's so excited to be a part of the team at Jollypop and can't wait to share these magical moments with you.
Scott has a wealth of experience working with children, from providing care in a nursery to entertainment work at a local adventure park. While Scott’s interest in performance began at school, he has since provided children’s entertainment as an array of characters spanning from cowboys and superheroes to elves! Scott joins us as a character performer and has specific interest in superheroes! Scott began his in-house Jollypop training with us a few months ago now and we can’t wait to pick up where we left off and for Scott to bring his love of heroes to Jollypop parties!
Director and Entertainer
Grace has been working as a performer for fourteen years, and has particular experience specialising in interactive events. She worked for three years as a children's entertainer before co-founding Jollypop Entertainment, and Grace's professional acting credits include a variety of roles in shows for children. With a degree in creative writing and experience as a professional script writer and editor, you'll also find Grace's writing skills being put to use in Jollypop's interactive story times. Grace loves working alongside her best friend and business partner, Kate and enjoys the variety of entertainment at Jollypop. With training in singing, she loves to sing with her princess friends, as well as chasing baddies with cheeky pirates. Along side her work with Jollypop, Grace works part time in a school, providing support to children with special educational needs. She has two of her own children who ask every year for their mummy to entertain at their parties.
Grace says: "There is nothing better than the feeling I get from entertaining at a children's party. When you see the joy that we bring to children on their special days, it really is the most rewarding experience"
Director and Entertainer
Kate is a professionally trained soprano singer, with a passion for musical theatre and all things princess. She has industry experience panning from West End, to pantomime and children's theatre. She was in the original West End cast of 'Unfolding Tales the musical' and was also involved in the recording of a brand new musical 'Legends of Arahma' with composer Joe Purdue. Kate is interested in many areas of performing and also regularly performs as one of the lead singers in local function band 'Sweet Music'. When not treading the boards Kate works in education, supporting children with additional needs, something she is very passionate about. She has been working as a children's entertainer for over six years and has loved using all of her experience to build Jollypop with her best friend and partner in crime Grace.
Kate says: "Jollypop from it's very beginning was all about providing the highest quality. We're very passionate about making dreams come true for your little ones!"
Jessica’s love for performing started at the age of 7 at her first ballet class. She went on to train in musical theatre at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance. She has since worked professionally with many well know companies including Borne Leisure, Kanika hotels, Santa’s Lapland, and Reamba Productions. Jessica has worked across the UK and in Cyprus, Finland, India and Bahrain. Jessica loves musical theatre but also has a massive interest in radio presenting and does this as often as she can, presenting on HBA Southampton radio station. Most recently you can catch Jessica acting on Sky Crime, and also dancing in the Pepsi TV advert.
Glyn has, and always will, love performing. It is hardwired in his DNA. He studied Theatre and Creative Writing, has experience of being a director, writer and editor and has worked in a variety of mediums spanning from stage to screen: being on location for films and documentaries. Glyn has a huge passion for musical theatre and is usually found singing or dancing wherever he goes. Glyn teaches Performing Arts in a secondary school and sixth form and loves to share his passion with the younger generations. In his spare time, Glyn performs as part of a musical theatre group. He is also no stranger to character performance as he has had lots of experience working as a children’s entertainer with holiday clubs and children’s parties as well as being a children's Drama, Dance and Singing teacher for Youth Theatre Schools and running immersive children’s storytelling after school clubs. Glyn is excited to be part of Jollypop to live out his dream roles and spark magic for children!
Harriet is a recent graduate from Bird College where she trained in Musical Theatre and Dance. Her love for performing began at a young age and appeared in the West End cast of Billy Elliot the musical. She has worked with many industry professionals during her training and finished her final year playing the lead role ‘Jo March’ in Little Women. As well as performing, Harriet is doing her tap teaching qualification and holds dance and musical theatre workshops for aspiring young performers. She is so excited to be joining the Jollypop team and is looking forward to creating magical princess moments to events and parties.
Drew began his performance career when he took a National Diploma in performing arts and achieved a Triple Distinction. He then went on to University to study Dance Performance and Teaching. Drew trained at Carol May's Dance Academy and gained a wealth of experience teaching dance for a creative theatre company. Drew has worked professionally for The Lowry as the Regional Coordinator of Dance for Lancashire and became the Youth Dance Ambassador for Northwest Dance. He has since gained experience in children's entertainment with Planet Rock for Blackpool Pleasure Beach and as a member of Team Nick working with children for Nickelodeon and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Dora The Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants. Since moving to the local area, Drew has made good friends with the famous mascot for Reading Football Club alongside working for the BBC for Children In Need and getting to know Pudsey Bear. Drew is excited to be a part of the Jollypop team and is thrilled to be able to bring some of his favourite characters to life.
